Reynolds number calculation

Reynolds number is very important and probably most frequently used non-dimension number in fluid dynamics. To find out if the flow of gas, air, water or any other fluid is laminar or turbulent calculation of Reynolds number (Re) is necessary.

Reynolds number is relation between inertia and viscous forces. If inertia forces are much bigger, Re>2320, turbulent flow will occur, and if viscous forces are big enough in compare to inertia, Re<2320, laminar flow will occur.

Reynolds number calculator can be used for ALL FLUIDS and flow speeds without any restriction in all but one case when fluid is considered is ideal.
